Enjoying Italy Overland. when in a car one can enjoy the different valleys and green areas. From countryside to sea views, to mountains and coasts. There are some small villages which cannot be reached by train or areoplane: in the middle of Abruzzo, Umbria and Calabria. The fly and drive with a good rental car system straight after the flight, is the best option to visit Italy, not missing out on any hidden localities, which are difficult to reach by bus.

Fly and Drive North Italy

We organize fly and drive in the north of italy: Milan, Bergamo, Turin o Verona. All tours have different timings, depending on the time each area of visiting request. Usually the “Must” see are Milan, Turin, the river of Garda, Verona, Trento. Whilst on the other hand the Val d’Aosta and Friuli Venezia Giulia are regions exceptionally interesting but to be able to visit them one needs to combine a vacation coming from other sites in Europe.
During the Christmas period and the famous bazaar events, we consider a fly and drive to Trentino Alto Adige with the possibility to include in one’s vacation a visit to Trento, Bolzano, Merano, Rovereto or even prolong to cities like : Innsbruck, Saltsburg, Munich and Rosenheim.

Fly and Drive center Italy

For who arrives at the airport of Rome there is the possibility to start the tour that includes the roman castles or the close by Umbria with Perugia and Assisi or Firenze, Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano. In a very simple way without exceeding too many kilometres, one can put together a number of regions like: Lazio, Umbria, Toscana, even Abruzzo and Molise. Keeping in mind that the tour can be short stay or long stay, up to 14 nights.

Fly and Drive Campania
Arriving at the airport of Naples it is possible to rent a car and follow a tour of 3 to 7 nights, with overnight stay in the coast of Amalfi or of Sorrento or in Cilento.Here are some possible stops: Napoli, Caserta Vecchia e Reggia di Caserta, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Castellabate and Palinuro. You can choose a b&b, agricultural homes or farms, spa hotels, charm hotels, either overlooking the sea or in the countryside. It is also possible to add to the tour the visit of the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida.

Fly and Drive Apulia 
Arriving at the airport of Bari, one can rent a car and follow a route of 3 to 7 nights, with overnight stay in Salento or in the Riviera dei Trulli. The “must see” are: Alberobello, Grotte di Castellana, Castel Del Monte, Ostuni, Bari, Lecce, Peschici, Vieste, San Giovanni Rotondo, Gallipoli, Otranto.
This whole region is full of interesting places to visit, we can decide on a long or short stay, according to one’s own comfort and priorities. For example, a stop in Salento for a mini cruise to the islands of Tremiti or a visit of Matera, a beautiful city in Basilicata.

Fly and Drive Sicily
Possible airports from Sicily can be either Catania or Palermo. One can choose to visit the eastern and the western part of Sicily.

In this case, you will need at least 8 days and 7 nights, the common stops are: Catania and Etna, Riviera dei Ciclopi, Taormina, Siracusa, Agrigento with the Valley of the Temples, Ragusa, Modica, Noto, Palermo, Erice, Via Del Sale Di Marsala, Selinunte. It’s also possible to follow a shorter route of 3 to 6 nights, but in the eastern or western Sicily.

A fly and drive in Sardinia is for those who don’t want just sea and wellness, but want to appreciate the whole Sardinia’s treasured beauty. The available airports are: Cagliari and Olbia. Renting a car means getting around and seeing the most important localities with coasts and internal parts including places of interest like typical constructions called Nuraghi.
